Frankincense resin is the oldest form of incense. Even before the use of sticks or cones. Burning Frankincense alleviates anxiety or depression and is used to clear and purify the air.
Frankincense possesses many powerful healing properties. You can use Frankincense internally and externally.
Make Frankincense water: Put 4 pieces of resin in a quart-size jar.
Pour boiling water over the resin in the jar and let sit overnight. Drink a cup a day to help with congestion, and body/ bone & joint pain.
Burning Frankincense: Place sand in an incense burner.
Light the edge of charcoal puck.
Carefully add charcoal puck on top of the sand using tongs.
When charcoal glows red and is covered in ash, sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon of resing in the center of the charcoal puck ash.
Sit and relax slowing inhaling and taking in the calming and relaxing aroma of the Frankincense resin. Meditate say your affirmations and breathe.
Let sit for up to 3 hours before discarding to ensure no injury or fires occur.
